The Dabailing Jujube, also known as Duck Egg Jujube or Pear Jujube, is a new member of the jujube family. The fruit is large, with an irregular shape, nearly spherical, with larger fruits slightly flattened in a bun-like shape, while smaller ones are oval. The average fruit weight is 25 grams, with the largest reaching 80 grams. The flesh is greenish-white, crisp, slightly coarse, with moderate juice, and a sweet flavor. Soluble solids content is about 25% at the white-ripe stage and 30% when fully red. It has a high edible rate of 96.4%, making it excellent for fresh consumption. Dabailing Jujube typically ripens in early September, with a harvest period of around 90 days. It does not experience fruit cracking and is a mid-season fresh variety.
