Description
The Honey Crisp kumquat is an excellent citrus variety developed over seven years by the Rong’an County Fruit Production Technology Guidance Station in Liuzhou City.
The fruit is oval to round in shape, with smooth, golden yellow to orange-red skin. It is large, with an average weight of 30 grams per fruit, and some can reach the size of an egg, weighing over 50 grams. The Crisp Honey Kumquat is nearly seedless with small oil cells. Its sugar content is approximately 53.98% higher than that of regular kumquats, reaching 20-22 degrees Brix. It has a crisp texture, a rich, sweet flavor without a pungent spiciness, and is very juicy. The fruit matures in mid-November.
