Description
An ancient Chinese pear variety renowned for exceptional cold hardiness (down to −40.5°C / −41°F) and good disease resistance. Trees bloom in mid-April and fruits ripen in early October.
The distinctive fruits average 189 g, with the largest reaching 280 g. Thin yellow-green skin turns creamy yellow-white after ripening. The fine-textured, white flesh is exceptionally juicy and aromatic, with a rich sweet-tart flavor and a small core.
Fruits ripen fully 20–30 days after harvest and can be stored at 0–5°C (32–41°F) for several months.
