Baoyan No. 7 Rambutan is a premium rambutan cultivar developed by the Baoting Tropical Crops Research Institute in Hainan, China. Also known as Baoting No. 7, it is widely regarded as one of the finest rambutan varieties available in China. This exceptional cultivar is prized for its freestone flesh that separates cleanly from the seed, crisp and sweet texture, abundant juice, and high, reliable yields. It overcomes the common drawbacks of traditional rambutan varieties, such as flesh that clings to the seed and a dry or fibrous eating experience. The fruit typically ripens from July to October during the summer and autumn harvest season.
