Description
Guozhixian Apricot ripens in Yixian County, Jinzhou, with the early harvest around June 20 and full maturity by June 30. Under natural growing conditions, individual fruits weigh about 120 g.
The fruit is uniformly orange-yellow in color with even coloration and a glossy surface similar to a nectarine. The flesh is dry, crisp, and freestone, with no flesh sticking to the pit. It remains firm rather than soft.
The flavor is predominantly sweet with low acidity, offering a well-balanced sweet-tart profile. Sugar content is approximately 16%. The kernel is full and bitter.
The fruit has a tree-hanging period of about 10 days, with no observed issues of fruit cracking or premature drop.
