Description
The New Century guava, also known as the 21st Century guava, is an excellent variety introduced from Taiwan. The fruit is elongated and oval in shape, and relatively large, with an average weight of around 250 grams per fruit. It has a well-proportioned shape, yellow-green skin, and thick flesh. The texture is crisp and tender, with a delicious taste and few seeds, making it regarded as one of the tastiest guava varieties. When planted in spring, the New Century guava matures by autumn or winter, producing flowers and fruit up to four times between June and January of the following year.
