Description
The Yuhuang Plum has an average single-fruit weight of about 60 g, with large fruits reaching 85 g or more. The fruit is round to nearly round, with a rounded or slightly depressed apex, a shallow suture line, and a moderately deep stem cavity. The skin is yellow, covered with a thick silver-gray waxy bloom.
The flesh is yellow, fine-textured, low in fiber, and very juicy, offering a sweet flavor with mild acidity and a rich aroma. Quality indices include:
