Description
The Tongxiang Zui Plum, considered one of the premier plum varieties in China, ripens in early July. The fruit is flattened and round, with a single-fruit weight ranging from 45 to 95 g. Its skin has a yellow-green base with dark reddish-purple highlights. The flesh is yellow to pale yellow, dense, and becomes soft and juicy when fully ripe, offering a sweet, honey-like flavor with a rich wine aroma, which is why it is also called the “Drunken Plum.”
