Description
Chunxiang is an excellent offspring from Dongbao 9 × Wanxiang crossing population. The fruit are approximately circular, with single fruit weight 12.5–14.2 g, esculent rate is 70.2%–72.9% and the TSS is 19.1%–23.4%. The juicy flesh is milk white, crisp, delicate-based slag and can be easy free from seed. The texture tastes sweet, aromatic and its esters, aldehydes and alcohols occupy 21.0% of total volatile compounds to be the specific aroma of this cultivar. The fruit mature from late-September to mid-early October in Fuzhou, show high and stable production yield.
