Description
Qingke Baoyuan, also known as Qingshan 0, is the name of a longan variety. It was selected in 1989 from a 25-year-old seedling population of the Baoyuan longan variety in Qingshan Village, Changle. This variety is known for its large fruit and high-quality late maturity. The fruit clusters are medium-sized, with greenish-brown skins. The average fruit weight ranges from 16.9 to 18.4 grams, with larger fruits exceeding 21 grams. The fruit is nearly spherical, slightly flattened.
The flesh is milky white, semi-transparent, thick, crisp, melting in the mouth, juicy, and easily separates from the seed. The edible rate ranges from 69.4% to 70.7%, with soluble solids content ranging from 19.6% to 22.4%. This variety is of excellent quality and matures in late September.
