Dongbi longan is a famous and rare premium longan variety from Fujian Province, renowned as the best early-maturing fresh fruit variety in the region and hailed as the “King of Fresh Longan.” The average single fruit weighs 10.9 grams, with an edible rate of 62.5% to 65.55%. The soluble solids content is between 19.8% and 22.2%, with an acidity of 0.12% to 0.18%, and vitamin C content ranges from 81.0 to 115.3 mg per 100 grams. The fruit matures from mid-August to early September and is known for its high and stable yield.
