Description
Songfengben longan was approved by the Fujian Crop Variety Approval Committee in 1999. It is a late-maturing variety known for its high yield, stable production, and excellent quality. The fruits are medium to large, with an average weight of 12.8 to 13.9 grams per fruit and an edible rate of 68.2%. The soluble solids content ranges from 21% to 25%, with an acidity of 0.08% and a vitamin C content of 67.58 mg per 100 grams. The fruits mature from late September to early October, making it an ideal late-season fresh fruit variety.
