Guiyou 1 (桂柚1号)

Description

Guiyou  1 is an excellent mutant variety of Shatian pomelo. This variety is self-fruitful and does not require cross-pollination to bear fruit.
The fruit is pear-shaped with large and prominent oil cells. The fruit top is slightly concave with a ring pattern. The peel is initially yellow-green but turns orange-yellow after storage.
The average weight of a single fruit ranges from 928.0 to 1360.0 grams, with the maximum weight reaching approximately 1500 grams. The solid content at harvest is 11.8% to 15.0%, and the number of seeds ranges from 99 to 130.
After being stored at room temperature for a period, the flesh becomes softer, and the flavor improves. It can be stored at room temperature for 90 to 180 days.
