Description
Also called Papagan Orange, Chun Jian. The fruit is flat-round or inverted broad-oval in shape, large in size, with an average weight of 230 grams, and larger ones reaching up to 460 grams. The base may have a short neck or none, with a broad, rounded top and a deeply concave apex. The skin is smooth, deep orange, glossy, with small, dense, protruding oil glands. The peel is thin and closely attached but relatively easy to remove. The flesh is deep orange, crisp, tender, and juicy, with thin segment walls and a highly melting texture. The flavor is rich, and the soluble solids content is 12-13%. It is usually seedless, though when grown alongside seeded varieties, seeds may be present. The quality is excellent.
